Governing bodies
Governing bodies and compliance
Who regulates us, where your money is protected, and who to go to if something goes wrong.
Every letting agent in England must belong to a government-approved redress scheme, protect the money it holds for clients and publish its fees in full. These are the organisations we belong to, and what each one means for you.

Deposit protection
Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)
Tenants’ deposits are held by the TDS custodial scheme for the length of the tenancy, not by us or the landlord. If there’s a dispute at the end, TDS resolves it independently and free of charge.

Professional membership
UK Association of Letting Agents (UKALA)
A professional body for letting agents. As members, we work to UKALA’s code of practice and professional standards.

Independent redress
The Property Ombudsman (TPO)
If we can’t put something right through our own complaints procedure, you can take it to The Property Ombudsman for a free, independent review.

Data protection
Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
We’re registered with the UK’s data protection regulator, and handle your personal information in line with UK data protection law.
